How I work
Adopt what works. Adapt it locally.
The Vulnerable Persons Self-Registry was my Bachelor of Applied Business capstone. I led it with my employer’s support and Canadian Red Cross sponsorship. We adapted a proven program for our region, launched it in 2019 and used it in the 2020 flood. The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo received the 2021 Minister’s Award for Municipal Excellence, Enhancing Community Safety. The project began with one question:
“Who will we struggle to find when this goes wrong?”
I bring that same practical question to every organization I advise.
